Day 1: Classroom Content

Relevant anatomy
Physiology of the aging process; aesthetic "norms"
Patient assessment: contraindications, health history, consultation from a holistic multi-faceted approach
Injection techniques, landmarking, and indications for popular treatment areas
Managing complications in aesthetics
Starting up your practice - finding a medical director, recommended supplies, Public Health, policy/procedures
Marketing strategies
Day 2: One-to-one training with our nurse practitioner
Hands-on practice with patients
Anti-wrinkle injection areas: frown, forehead, crow's feet, bunny lines, lip flip, downturned smile, chin dimpling, jaw contouring, jaw slimming
Filler areas: lips, cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, chin
Day 3: One-to-one training with our nurse practitioner
Phlebotomy basics
Hands-on practice with patients
PRP Facial using microneedling
PRP facial using serial puncture

A 1-day course that teaches facials and hand restoration treatments using PRP or the cosmetic injector. This course will prepare you to perform PRP treatments using the serial puncture technique, microneedling, corrections for nasolabial folds and under-eyes, and hair restoration.

These 1-day courses are indicated for the cosmetic nurse injector that already has experience in BTX anti-wrinkle injections and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and wants to add more advanced skills and techniques to their skillset.

It is of our recommendation that the injector has a minimum of 3-6 months of consistent hands-on injecting experience that is relevant to the course chosen prior to taking an advanced course. This is to optimize safety of our treatment models and ensure that the student can get the most out of their learning experience. Our nurse practitioner will schedule a meeting with the student(s) prior booking a course date to ensure the student meets optimal requirements for taking the course. Payment is not collected until approval from the nurse practitioner and a course date is booked.
We offer advanced courses for anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, and poly-L-acetic acid biostimulator injections.
Advanced Neuromodulator and Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler Course
Cost:
$1500 + HST for 1:1 training
$1200 per person for group rates - up to a maximum of 3 injectors
This course encompasses a small amount of classroom theory followed by hands-on practice and teaches beyond just upper face neuromodulator treatments, dermal filler treatments to advanced areas of the face, as well as advanced dermal filler injection techniques to previously learned areas.

A 1-day course that encompasses a small amount of theory and anatomy review, followed by hands-on practice on patients for the remainder of the day.

Tyler has been a nurse practitioner for 6 years and working in aesthetics for 5 years. She has training and valuable experience in both basic and advanced injectables, as well experience as a medical director for multiple clinics across Ontario. Although she does provide treatments to her own clientele in Amherstburg ON, the main focus of Beauty Xpressions and the majority of her time is invested in the injectors/clinics that function under her oversight. She is frequently travelling to the injectors located across Ontario to provide ongoing training in basic and advanced injectables, and continuing to help them sharpen their skills and build confidence in the ever-growing industry.
