Naturally full lips can absolutely be enhanced too ;) when done properly, it’s not about making them “bigger” - it’s about shape, balance, detail and choosing the right lip goals for the right face. Here, we refined the top-to-bottom ratio, created a soft butterfly shape, and added a delicate keyhole for the finishing touch.

New curriculum, full steam ahead...

I am constantly thinking about how I can continue to improve my Aesthetics educational curriculum to best support nurses as they move into injectables practice — not just with a certificate, but with confidence, time, and real mentorship.

The Injector Transition-to-Practice Mentorship Program is a hybrid program that combines online learning, an in-person classroom day focused on patient consultation and treatment planning, and 12 hands-on clinical days treating real patients alongside me as your NP instructor. We start with foundational concepts of neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and PRP/skin boosters, and gradually build toward more advanced neurotoxin/dermal filler techniques as well and biostimulators.

Mentorship is intentionally kept small (maximum 2 students) so there’s lots of space for questions, repetition, feedback, and learning at a realistic pace. The training is spread out over time to allow skills to settle, confidence to grow, and clinical judgment to develop — because that’s how real practice actually works.

We also talk openly about the less-glamorous but very important parts of this industry: patient expectations, documentation, scope of practice, ethical treatment planning, and how to navigate aesthetics as a nurse.

This program is for nurses who want to feel prepared, supported, and grounded as they transition into practice — not rushed in a weekend course.
